Delivering Integrated Mental Health and Addiction Recovery Support

EPIC Behavioral Healthcare is a trusted provider of holistic, patient-centered mental health and addiction recovery services. The organization offers same-day access, rapid response, psychiatric care, outpatient mental health services, medication assistance, care coordination, peer support, recovery detox, sober living, residential treatment, medication-assisted recovery, criminal justice programs, prevention initiatives, and mentoring programs, such as Big Brothers Big Sisters and Talkable Communities.

EPIC serves individuals of all ages, from children and families to adults.

Psychiatric Programs and Recovery Support

EPIC’s same-day access services provide evaluations, screenings, and care coordination, allowing walk-in participants to quickly access affordable mental health and substance use support. The Rapid Response Team works to minimize trauma while ensuring proper assessment and referral to appropriate services.

The Co-Responder Program, a collaboration between behavioral health specialists and law enforcement, intervenes to connect individuals with care and support. EPIC’s outpatient and psychiatric programs assist individuals, couples, families, and youth through mental health evaluations, counseling, medication management, peer support, and care coordination.

For those needing more intensive care, EPIC offers a 30-day inpatient program, designed to address trauma and personal challenges while engaging family and support networks in the recovery process. Recovery support continues through the Second Wind Village Sober Living Program, which provides a safe, structured environment for participants beginning their journey to sobriety.

Residents benefit from life skills education, housing support, career coaching, job placement, and other programs that foster independence and long-term success.

Specialized Criminal Justice and Educational Programs

EPIC also delivers specialized criminal justice programs, including Drug Court, the Jail-based EPIC Transition Team (J.E.T.), S.I.G.H.T. (Serenity, Integrity, Goals, Hope, Trust), S.M.A.R.T. (State Attorney Mission to Assist Thriving Rehabilitation and Treatment), and Veterans Treatment Court. These initiatives provide treatment, counseling, education, and reintegration support for individuals navigating the justice system.

In addition, EPIC offers preventive and educational programs, including Think!, Active Parenting, Parent Education, Anger Management, Catch My Breath, Suicide Prevention initiatives, and the Youth Mentor Program.
