Comprehensive Care to Empower Mothers
Acknowledging the unique challenges faced by young mothers, St. Gerard Campus empowers women to build brighter futures for themselves and their children. This faith-based organization provides comprehensive support through childcare, educational programs, a residential program, adoption services, and community outreach initiatives.
Offering Access to Childcare, Housing, and Resources
At the core of St. Gerard Campus’s mission is its licensed daycare center, approved by the Department of Children and Families (DCF). The center provides infants and young children with a safe, nurturing environment to support early childhood development. While children receive attentive care, their mothers focus on their education and personal goals.
St. Gerard Campus also operates an accredited high school specifically for pregnant teens and young mothers ages 14 to 20. The school offers individualized instruction, small class sizes, and a flexible schedule to ensure students can continue their education while balancing prenatal care or parenting responsibilities.
Beyond academics, students receive emotional encouragement, mentorship, and preparation for future careers or continued education.
Extending Assistance to Families
For those who need additional support, the campus offers a residential program that provides a stable and structured living environment. In this home-like setting, young mothers receive guidance in developing life skills, including budgeting, nutrition, childcare, time management, and healthy relationship building.
Parenting classes, on-site support, and access to community resources empower students to grow in confidence and work toward self-sufficiency. In addition to its educational and residential services, St. Gerard’s Community Care Center extends assistance to families throughout the community.
The care center distributes diapers, wipes, formula, clothing, and other baby essentials at no cost. St. Gerard Campus also offers Adoption Services, Counseling, and Advocacy to help expectant mothers understand all available options and make informed decisions about their futures.
