Establishing a Robust Health Network for Uninsured Patients

Wildflower Healthcare, formerly known as the Good Samaritan Wildflower Clinic, was established in 1995 with a compassionate mission to meet the medical and dental needs of underserved, vulnerable, and uninsured residents of St. Johns County. The clinic offers primary and chronic disease care, diagnostic testing, women’s health services, and vision screenings.

Extending Beyond the Clinic Through Off-Site Services

In addition, the clinic offers specialized programs, such as a vision clinic and a Smoking Cessation Program, providing patients with support and resources to improve overall wellness. Wildflower Healthcare also extends its reach beyond the clinic through off-site services. In partnership with UF Health, the organization operates a weekly medical mobile clinic that travels to various locations across St. Johns County.

This mobile unit brings healthcare directly into the community, making it easier for individuals without transportation or stable housing to access care. Current mobile clinic locations include St. Francis House, Hastings, Family Worship Center, and Dining with Dignity.

For up-to-date information on mobile clinic dates, times, and locations, please visit here.

Dental Services Where it Matters Most

The clinic also offers dental services on-site, including exams, extractions, fillings, dental hygiene, and dentures when resources are available. In addition to these on-site services, off-site dental care is offered monthly in Hastings to further support residents with limited access to transportation.

Individuals interested in receiving dental services are encouraged to contact the clinic to determine eligibility.
