Supporting Young Mothers and Elderly Women
Alpha Omega Miracle Home provides compassionate and supportive services. Founded in 1997 by former teen mother and Christian Lisa Franklin, The Alpha Omega Home (AOMH) supports young mothers and older women in a nurturing environment. Established initially as a single residence for seven young women, AOMH has since expanded its reach to serve up to 80 women. Each unit contains two bedrooms and one bathroom, with appliances, parking, and a fenced yard.
Holistic Services to Support Long-Term Goals
Alpha Omega Miracle Home commits to fostering a nurturing environment where women and children can find safety, support, and hope for a brighter future. The organization offers a range of comprehensive services designed to address both immediate needs and long-term goals. These services include case management, career development opportunities, adoption assistance, financial literacy programs, and counseling.
The supportive atmosphere encourages residents to engage in personal development and healing, allowing them to focus on their emotional and psychological well-being.
Collaboration and Financial Support
With strong ties to Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD), the Florida Association of Christian Child-Caring Agencies, and the United Way of St. Johns County, the organization is dedicated to being an active part of local networks and supporting families. Aside from collaborating with organizations and volunteers, AOMH helps to fund its programs through a thrift store at 525 SR-16 E, Unit 120-122, St. Augustine, Florida 32084, which sells clothing, vintage decor, tools, video games, books, toys, furniture, and other household items.
The thrift store is open from Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
