Playing a role in the community by offering volunteer support and fundraising assistance.

Offering Volunteer Support and Fundraising Aid

Founded in 1934, the Junior Service League of St. Augustine is an organization dedicated to serving the needs of St. Johns County. The League's mission is to support local nonprofit organizations by offering volunteer support and fundraising assistance. Over the decades, the Junior Service League partnered with many initiatives, helping to strengthen and sustain services and cultural landmarks.

Notable contributions include their work with the St. Augustine Lighthouse and Museum, local medical clinics, and thrift shops, providing much-needed community resources. The Junior Service League is open to women passionate about giving back to their community. New members must dedicate at least 60 service hours, contributing to the League's volunteer efforts and fundraising events.

Supporting Established Community Projects

These service hours ensure that members are actively involved in making a difference, whether through hands-on volunteerism or the planning and execution of critical fundraising activities that help sustain local nonprofits. In addition to supporting established community projects, the Junior Service League regularly identifies new opportunities to enhance the well-being of St. Johns County residents.
