Addressing Pressing Needs in the Community

St. Vincent de Paul Society is a Catholic organization that emphasizes community outreach. Its mission is rooted in faith and compassion, and it seeks to uplift individuals and families facing various hardships. The organization aims to identify and address the most pressing needs within the community. Through direct engagement with those in need, volunteers work tirelessly to offer practical assistance, including spiritual guidance, food, and clothing.

Building Community Connections Through a Food Pantry and Thrift Store

The St. Vincent de Paul Society supports over 820 families through its food pantry, which serves children, seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities. The pantry operates Mondays and Tuesdays from 9 to 11 a.m., and private appointments are available on Thursdays and Saturdays by request.

The organization also operates a thrift store that is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The store accepts donations of furniture, clothing, appliances, and household essentials and offers them to families at affordable prices. Delivery and pickup options are also available.

Fostering Strong Community Partnerships

In addition to outreach, the St. Vincent de Paul Society offers referrals for services beyond its scope. By building strong partnerships with other local organizations, charities, and government agencies, the Society ensures individuals are connected with the right resources. These referrals help streamline the process for those seeking help and guide them through what can often be a complex network of support services.

Mission Statement

Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, a Catholic lay organization, leads women and men to join together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to those who are needy and suffering in the tradition of its founder, Blessed Frédéric Ozanam, and patron, St. Vincent de Paul.
